Hello Bambini Family,

 

My name is Molly Rysko and I am a board-certified music therapist. I grew up in Overland Park, Kansas just down the road. One of my earliest memories of elementary school is singing in the choir! I soon started piano lessons, followed by voice lessons, and eventually added guitar lessons. I then got my bachelors of music in Music Therapy from KU (rock chalk!). While I have worked in settings from hospitals, to retirement homes, to schools, my primary background is early intervention and child development. I completed my internship at Britain Development Center in Merriam, KS, where I provided group and individual music therapy for kiddos ages 0-6 with developmental delays and disabilities. I absolutely love working with children and their families to help them reach their full potential!  I now work primarily for Stepping Stones, KC. So, when I am not here at Bambini Creativi, I am all around the greater KC area providing group music therapy/community music groups and individual music therapy sessions, as well as piano, ukulele, and guitar lessons. 

Music therapy is all about achieving non-music goals through music activities and I can’t wait to adapt this mindset to the Reggio approach here!
